Introduction
Marie-Louise has been engaged with consumers for several years already, through amongst others philanthropy and investments as well as through her involvement with NGOs. Since 2015, Marie-Louise has served as Managing Director, Europe of The Philanthropy Workshop (TPW), a community of 450 philanthropists committed to accelerating impact on social issues. She focuses on growing the TPW community within the United Kingdom & Europe, as well as leading regional partnerships & investments. Prior to TPW, Marie-Louise was Head of the CFO’s office at the British Council, focused on programmes relating to global health, security and education.
She previously worked on leading grassroots NGOs in Zambia and India, focused on education, health and livelihoods at the community level, and previously with Amref UK on maternal health programmes. Marie-Louise completed two communications internships with the European Union and remains devoted to transparency for greater understanding and building collaboration.
